Pontefract Camera Club.
The club is a group of around 30 Photographers from beginners to more advanced workers who meet weekly from September to July each year. We enjoy a wide programme of events, practical sessions, lectures, competitions and meetings with other clubs. Many of our members are now using Digital Photography to produce their work.

University of the Third Age Wakefield & District
This is a self-help group for anyone over the age of 55 who intends to maintain a healthy mind and body in later life by continuing to learn and to practise new skills. The tutors and co-ordinators are all retired, and volunteer their help. A wide variety of activities are included in the programme, from keep-fit to gardening, and include language courses and discussion groups.
